How to export a report for me

Microsoft, Pinterest, Reddit, LinkedIn, Snapchat and Apple ads need no connection this phase: click the platform's own Export button, then drop the downloaded file into the ads position's chat. The workshop reads spend, conversions and ROAS, states the currency, time zone and date range, and runs an account check-up.

A few general points:

  • Export a report broken down by day if you can. A report without a daily breakdown still works; it is kept as a total for the period.
  • If the report does not state the currency or time zone, the card says so — it does not guess.
  • Editing ads is not available yet: anything worth changing comes back as a suggestion for you to apply in the ad manager.
  • If the workshop can't tell which platform a file is from, drop it again on that platform's duty page.

Microsoft Ads (Bing)

  1. In Microsoft Advertising, open Reporting and create a report or start from a template.
  2. Pick the columns and date range, open the report and click Download at the top right.
  3. Choose .zip (CSV) or .xlsx. If you get a .zip, unzip it first and drop in the .csv inside.

You can also click Download on the Campaigns page to export the current table.

Pinterest Ads

  1. Open the menu at the top left and go to Ads Manager reporting.
  2. Click Export above the reporting table.
  3. Pick the data, download the CSV and drop it in.

Reddit Ads

  1. In Reddit Ads, open Reports and create a report.
  2. Choose the date range and time zone, pick the columns and choose the campaign level.
  3. Click Save and Export, then drop the CSV in.

LinkedIn Ads

  1. In Campaign Manager, open the ad account and click Advertise on the left.
  2. Check the time range at the top right, then click Export.
  3. Choose the ad set performance report with a daily time breakdown, export, and drop the CSV in.

LinkedIn reports days in UTC, so reconciling with store orders can be off by a few hours.

Snapchat Ads

  1. In Ads Manager, open Manage Ads and pick the campaign, ad set or ad level.
  2. Use Columns to choose what to export.
  3. Click Download, export CSV or Excel, and drop it in.

Apple Ads

This duty is for apps only: if the brand has no app, it does not apply.

  1. In Apple Ads, open Insights and click Create Report, or use a ready-made performance report.
  2. Pick the metrics, dimensions (time by day) and dates, then save.
  3. Click the download icon in the report's Actions column to get the .xlsx, and drop it in.
